Place Names of the USA

While I was at University, I discovered the study of place-names ~ and how much they can teach about local history. My teacher was a true  expert ~ Margaret Gelling!

I decided, for 'Hub Pages', to have a look at some American place-names ~ states and their capital cities. So far, I have only completed three! That leaves me lots of interesting research still to do :)
