Things change on the World Wide web and writers have to change with them.
On Hub Pages ~ the writers' site that I belong to ~ there has been much talk about pandas and penguins over the past several months. It's all Greek to me, as they say. I love pandas and penguins, but not when they cause viewing figures to drop.
My researching and my writing have continued, but I decided to 'unpublish' some of my articles, until I can sort them out ~ and improve upon them. My series based on visions of Mary and other saints are included in this group.
Why not explore some of my offerings and give me some feedback. That would be much appreciated!
Thanks! :)

What to Write and Where to Write it???
Hi : )
As I have already mentioned, I am a member of Hub Pages and joined that site so that I could actually get writing!
And it has worked. I do write now ~ quite regularly. Having a site to write for has made me more focused, which is just what I needed.
The thing is, I always wanted to write a book and to get into print, but, nowadays, 'cyber books' seems to be the way forward.
Should I stick to my online articles, or should I write a book and try to get it published as an e-book?
I don't really have time to do both.
And, if I do decide to write a book, should it be factual or fiction?
Such a dilemma!
I hope to find a romance novel that I wrote 21 years ago and see if that will work as an e-book. I origi
nally submitted it to Mills and Boon, but it wasn't quite their sort of thing.

My Articles Related to Religious History, Belief, Research, etc.
For my degree, I studied some Medieval apparitions of the Virgin Mary and other saints, which were recorded in 'Spain'. I have since written up my research, as a series of articles for Hub Pages. They begin with this one on the background to the situation. The rest can be reached from here:
'Christian Apparitions (Virgin Mary, etc) in Medieval and Renaissance (Early Modern) 'Spain' - background'

Also whilst studying for my History degree, I went on a field visit to the enigmatic Rushton Triangular Lodge and Lyveden New Bield, in Northamptonshire. They are fascinating buildings, based on religious belief ~ and very much a part of the politics and secrecy of an age ~ Tudor and Stuart times ~ when religion was a matter of life and death. It spawned 'The Gunpowder Plot'.

Religion, folklore, superstition, cosmology, astrology, astronomy ~ how do they all fit together? I have been looking into this for some of my articles:
Lucifer - Devil, or King, or Morning Star, or Something Else?

'Evolution' is science ~ not religion! But it is almost impossible to discuss this subject, without becoming embroiled in religious debate. Here are a couple of my 'Evolution' articles ~there are more ~ which specifically look at creationism as well.

The Bible has long fascinated me ~ probably even more since I realised that I was agnostic. There are some real horror stories in the Hebrew Scriptures / Old Testament. I was particularly horrified by the slaughter of the suckling babies of Amalek.

There are some aspects of the New Testament that are cause for concern ~ and closer study ~ as well. I have started to write up some thoughts on the subject.'Swords' in the Gospels of the New Testament

I took a look at some well-known saints! But how much do we really know about them?!
Saint George, Patron Saint of England
Saint Patrick and Saint Patrick's Day
Saint Valentine - and Romance

Place Names of the USA
While I was at University, I discovered the study of place-names ~ and how much they can teach about local history. My teacher was a true expert ~ Margaret Gelling!
I decided, for 'Hub Pages', to have a look at some American place-names ~ states and their capital cities. So far, I have only completed three! That leaves me lots of interesting research still to do :)

Hi :)
I have written an article on the story that the Gospels tell about Jesus and the first Easter.
It is a fascinating subject for an agnostic to get to grips with ~ and will supplement my other 'religious' articles..

Swords in the Bible
I am fascinated by the Bible ~ I suppose it's the historian in me. I love old documents!
My latest article for Hub Pages is about swords in the Bible ~ well, just the New Testament Gospels, actually.
a very interesting topic, I found.
